Employee Training

Editing an existing coursePlease, login to The Admin

to complete the following steps.

Select Manage Courses from the Employee Training menu
In the folder list, click the applicable folder
Click Edit for the applicable course
There are tabs for information which can be modified:
Click Folder to change which folders the course can be found in (Note: that it will be the same version of the course accessible from all folders and any future changes to the course will be reflected in all folders)
Click Details to modify the details of the course:
- The Title is the name of the course that will be displayed in the list
- The Course Type is only visible through the administration system
- The Owner is the user of the administration system who is allocated to process applications for this course
- The Objective is what the aims of the course are - this information is provided to users of the intranet when applying for the course
- The Content describes the main content of the course
- The Group Size is the number of people that can be enrolled in the course
- Select Display Billing Details to enable users applying for the course to enter their billing details
Click Attendance to modify the description of the course:
- The Who Should Attend field describes the users who should apply for the course
- The Comments field displays any further information about the course
- The Cancellation field could describe when cancellations must be submitted
Click Price & Dates to modify this information:
- The Nomination Date is the date that nominations must be received by
- Either tick the Date TBA check box or select the course Start Date and End Date entering the text into the text box or by clicking the calendar icon
- Either tick the Expiry Period TBA check box or set the Months Before Expiry and Years Before Expiry from the drop down selection, to confirm the interval between the course End Date and when the course should be archived. Read more about archiving expired courses here
- Enter the Price for the course (Note: use numbers only) and the Currency (e.g. US$)
Click Document(s) to manage the documents associated with the course:
- To add an additional document, click Add Document; enter the Title and click Choose File to locate the document or URL, click OK to save
- To edit an existing document, click Edit for the applicable document and modify as required
- To delete an existing document, click Delete for the applicable document; to confirm delete, click OK
Click Apply to save while remaining on the current page; click OK to save and return to the list of courses within the applicable folder
