e-Newsletter

Editing an existing recipient listPlease,login to The Admin

to complete the following steps.

Select Manage Newsletters from the e-Newsletter menu
In the category list, click the applicable category
Click Recipient Lists
Click Edit for the applicable recipient list
Modify the Details of the list as required:
- The Title will be displayed in the list when users of the administration system are selecting a recipient list to send the e-Newsletter to
- The Description is only visible when managing the recipient list, it should describe what the recipient list is for or the selection of people in it
Click Recipients - list of all the current recipients in the list will be displayed
- To edit or remove a recipient, select it from the Email list, or search for the email address
Click Import to add, edit or delete recipients in one of the following ways:
- Import Recipients from File, click Browse to locate the file, click Upload (Note: the file must be a text file containing solely email addresses with one recipient on each line)
- Enter email addresses by typing (or pasting), each email address should be separated by a line, comma or semi-colon into the Import Recipients From List field
- Import Recipients from Active Directory User Group, enter the name of the group (or part of the name with * as a wildcard) and click Search. Select the appropriate user group from the list and click Upload (Note: this will only be successful if there are already appropriate user groups set up in Active Directory)
- To Edit the details of an existing recipient (including adding/removing their subscription to a particular e-Newsletter), click Edit for the applicable recipient. The recipients' Email Address and current Subscriptions can be modified, click OK to save
- To Delete, the recipient from the recipient list, click Remove for the applicable recipient (Note: to remove the recipients' email address from all recipient lists, you are required to go through and remove the email address from every list)
Click Apply to save while remaining on the current page; click OK to save and return to the list of e-Newsletters in this category
